The Bargain Bin: Oh No! Oh My! - Oh No! Oh My! - Self-Released - 2006
She's a Keane painting in the flesh, though without all the kitsch and creep factor. She's one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of knowing, and always finds the beauty in anyone she meets.
Album Reviews: Dan Deacon – Gliss Riffer – Domino Records
Gliss Riffer appears to be, among other things, an extended existential inquiry. “When I Was Done Dying,” a song about what the end of all things might really be like, contains verve after verse of xylophones, bongos, pounding drums, and glorious synthesizers that sound like sunbeams shining down from the sky.
Album Reviews: Nevermen – Nevermen – Ipecac Recordings

The Bargain Bin: David Bowie - The Best of David Bowie 1969/1974 - EMI
She always wished she was Ziggy Stardust.
Record Reviews: Here We Go Magic – Be Small – Secretly Canadian

The Bargain Bin: Baby Dayliner - High Heart and Low Estate / Critics Pass Away - Brassland

“This is the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life.”
TV Recaps: Search Party, Season 3, Episode 1
